Estonia is the northernmost of the three Baltic republics and borders in the north and the west to the Baltic Sea, in the east to the Russian federation and in the south at Lativia. Expanded forests, dune beaches, 1500 lakes and approx. 800 islands coin/shape the beautiful and varied landscape.
Republic since 1991. Condition of 1992. Parliament with 101 delegates.

Head of the government: Juhan parts, since 2003.
Finally independently since 1991.
